112th Clovis Rodeo Opens with Week of Competition, Concerts, and Community Events

The 112th Clovis Rodeo begins Wednesday with a week of competitions, concerts, and community events expected to draw rodeo fans to the Central Valley.

Opening night will feature the PRCA X-treme Bulls competition followed by a concert by Corey Kent and a check presentation to the bull riding champion.

On Thursday, PRCA rodeo events including bareback riding, steer wrestling, and saddle bronc riding are scheduled, followed by a concert by Josh Ross.

Friday will include another night of rodeo competition and a performance by Shane Profitt.

Saturday’s events begin with the Rodeo Parade through Old Town Clovis at 9:30 a.m., followed by PRCA rodeo performances at 2 p.m., a salute to veterans, and a military flyover. The day continues with a Coors Light After-Party and the Clovis Rodeo Dance.

The event concludes Sunday with a Kids Special Rodeo at 11 a.m. and the final rodeo performance at 2 p.m. featuring the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” theme.
