Fresno Police Arrest Murder Suspect in Deadly Stabbing

A man died after being stabbed during a disturbance early Wednesday, and a Fresno man has been arrested on a murder charge, police said.

Southwest Policing District officers were dispatched at 2:01 a.m. Wednesday to Divisadero and Abby streets after a report of a person lying in the roadway, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Officers found Kyle Beachy, 42, of Fresno suffering from a stab wound to his upper body.

Officers and emergency medical personnel performed life-saving measures before Beachy was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment, police said.

Beachy later died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Homicide detectives who responded to the scene determined that a disturbance had occurred between Beachy and Aaron Muller, 50, also of Fresno, police said.

Muller was arrested Thursday by the Fresno Police Department’s Street Violence Bureau Tactical Team and booked into the Fresno County Jail on one count of murder, authorities said.

Police said the killing is Fresno’s 12th homicide of 2026.
