Fresno Police Arrest Man After Alleged Attack in Front of Children
A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday after police say he assaulted a woman in a domestic violence incident while violating a protective order.
According to Fresno Police Department, officers responded to the scene where the suspect, identified as Israel Perez, allegedly punched the victim on both sides of her face, causing visible injuries. Police said minor children were present during the incident.
Authorities also reported the suspect damaged the victim’s televisions and had an active restraining order prohibiting contact with her.
Perez was arrested on multiple charges, including domestic violence, violation of a protective order, child abuse without great bodily injury, and vandalism, according to arrest records.
