Fresno Man Arrested in Connection With Multiple Central Valley Vehicle Burglaries
A Fresno man has been arrested in connection with multiple vehicle burglaries across the Central Valley, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said Rayford Eaton, 57, of Fresno was booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges of repetitive theft, vehicle burglary, identity theft, and possession of stolen property.
The sheriff’s office said Eaton is believed to be responsible for numerous vehicle burglaries in which property, including credit cards, was stolen and later used to make purchases.
Officials said Eaton is not eligible for bail because of the repetitive theft charge, which was established after California voters passed Proposition 36 in 2024.
