Carson Pickett joins Pitchside as special guest in Episode 24

DENVER Denver Summit FC defender Carson Pickett joins Denver Summit FC: Pitchside as the special guest in Episode 24, opening up about her work off the field and her impact in the community.

Pickett discusses her work with Hand Camp Colorado and her nomination for the 2026 NWSL Lauren Holiday Impact Award.

Pickett is the Summits nominee for the award, which recognizes NWSL players for their character and service in their communities.

Born without her left forearm and hand, Pickett has made connecting with kids with limb differences an important part of her work. Through Hand Camp Colorado, she helps young athletes see what is possible while giving them someone who understands their experience.

Picketts work with the organization was a major reason she was selected as Denvers nominee.

The Lauren Holiday Impact Award was created in 2024 to honor the legacy of two-time Olympic gold medalist and World Cup champion Lauren Holiday. It recognizes players who go above and beyond to make a difference in their communities.

Pickett is currently in the top five in the fan voting portion of the award, with voting open through Aug. 29.
