Wildfire in Fresno County Grows to 200 Acres, 40% Contained

A wildfire burning in Fresno County had grown to 200 acres and was 40% contained as of Friday morning, according to CalFire.

The blaze, named the Hog Fire, was reported early Thursday morning along Trimmer Springs Road and Lakeview in the Trimmer area within the Sierra National Forest.

Officials said the fire remains active and its cause is under investigation.

No information was immediately available on structures threatened or damaged, or on any injuries or fatalities.
