Where Do Clovis Police Write the Most Tickets? Here’s the Top 10 Intersections
Traffic citations in Clovis rose in 2025, with police issuing more than 8,000 tickets and identifying several high-traffic intersections as enforcement hotspots.
The Clovis Police Department said officers issued 8,027 traffic citations last year in the city of 128,000 residents, a 20% increase from 2024. Six of the intersections with the highest number of citations also ranked among the top 10 locations for collisions, according to the department.
The top 10 intersections for citations in Clovis are:
- Shaw and Willow avenues — 494
- Bullard and Villa avenues — 236
- Shaw and Peach avenues — 210
- Shaw and Villa avenues — 202
- Herndon and Clovis avenues — 171
- Shaw and Clovis avenues — 159
- Shaw and Minnewawa avenues — 155
- Bullard and Adler avenues — 141
- Shaw and Dewitt avenues — 132
- Shaw and Fowler avenues — 124
Police said the most common violations cited were unsafe speed, use of a cell phone while driving, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
