Trump Announces New National Garden of American Heroes in Washington DC
President Donald Trump on Friday announced a new National Garden of American Heroes in the District of Columbia to help mark the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the United States in July.
The garden will be located in West Potomac Park on the Potomac River, he said in a post on Truth Social
Trump said the park would feature statues of the country’s founding fathers, military warriors, religious leaders, civil rights champions, athletes, artists and entertainers
As part of the celebrations to mark the founding of the United States in 1776, Trump is also pushing for the creation of a 250-foot (76-meter) “Triumphal Arch” in Washington
