Stoney Fire 60% Contained Near Tollhouse in Fresno County

The Stoney Fire burning in Fresno County was 60% contained Monday morning as crews continued working in steep terrain near Tollhouse, according to CalFire.

The wildfire started Sunday at the south end of Fallen Oak Road and had grown to 75 acres as of the 7:46 a.m. update. The cause remains under investigation, and Fallen Oak Road is closed.

CalFire said 175 personnel are assigned to the incident, including 13 engines, two water tenders, two helicopters, three dozers, six hand crews and 10 additional resources. Firefighting air tankers from across the state are also assisting with suppression efforts as conditions allow.

Four evacuation warning zones are in place: K130, K119, K120 and K118.

No structures or injuries have been reported.
