Merced County Authorities Seek Family of 66-Year-Old Deceased Man

The Merced County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau is asking for the public’s help in locating the family of a 66-year-old man so his body can be released for burial.

Authorities said they are seeking relatives of Stephen Eugene Hill, who they believe has family members living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Officials said the whereabouts and contact information for his relatives are unknown.

The coroner’s office said locating Hill’s immediate family is necessary so the body can be released and he can receive a proper burial.
