Dozens of veterans and military family members protesting the Iran war were arrested Monday after occupying the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C.
U.S. Capitol Police said 66 people were arrested after veterans and military family members entered the building following screening and began demonstrating, refusing to stop, according to a statement to The Hill.
The protest was organized by About Face, Center on Conscience and War, Veterans For Peace, Common Defense, Fayetteville Resistance Coalition, Military Families Speak Out and 50501 Veterans.
