Daisy Chain Fields Festival Will Not Have a General Sale, Organizers Said
Fans hoping to attend Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival will not get a second chance at the box office.
Organizers confirmed Wednesday that there will be no general sale after presale passes for the one-day women-led event sold out in under an hour.
“Due to demand during the presale, all tickets are currently on waitlist and there will not be a general on sale,” organizers wrote on the festival’s social media channels.
The statement quickly drew backlash from fans who were unable to secure tickets.
Many reported waiting in virtual queues for hours during the presale, only to walk away empty-handed.
The swift sellout and the subsequent announcement of no general sale left scores of would-be attendees calling on organizers to reconsider.
The only remaining option for fans is a waitlist, which organizers say offers a chance to purchase tickets if more become available.
About the Festival
The festival, announced by Rodrigo on Monday, is set for Aug. 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California.
It features an all-female and female-fronted lineup that includes Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Garbage, Bikini Kill, and The Breeders, with special guests Stevie Nicks, Karen O, and Sarah McLachlan.

Rodrigo is also set to perform.
Net proceeds will benefit nonprofit organizations supporting women and girls.
